Defiant, Fascination, Past Tense, Life Support, Heart of Stone, Destiny, Prophet Motive

Hello Everyone! I am back after a very long absence. My return to the blog has been prompted by the need to tone back down the weight just a little bit. I have put on a few pounds the last month or so, nothing major but I'm over 200 so that needs to change. The second and more important reason is that I have signed up for the Twin Cities Marathon and need just that little bit of extra encouragement. So long story short here I am my fabulous readers.

I am a runner these days and I can't believe that I love it as much as I do. I cannot picture my life without being able to run these days. I am currently a month into the training schedule and I just found out that there are 100 days before the race as of today. This post is a little short on the details about me but I have started watching Star Trek again and picked up where I left off with just a few episodes.

Defiant
Will Riker's pesky transporter clone, Thomas Riker shows up on DS9 where he tricks Kira into showing him the Defiant. He steals the ship and intends to use it as part of a Maquis plan to attack the Cardassians.

Fascination
Lwaxana Troi shows up once again to hit on Odo and participate in the Bajoran gratitude festival. The crew and civilians on the station start acting very romantic but towards all of the wrong people. This is all apparently because she developed a fever that impacts other people because she is a telepath.

Past Tense
The crew of the Defiant end up traveling back in time and get caught up in some pretty important events in 21st century Earth, the Bell Riots. They must participate in the events but not change anything so that everything can be set right for the future.

Life Support
Vedek Bariel has been injured right as he is to begin working on a peace treaty with the Cardassians and Bajor. He is held on major life support measures until he finally succumbs to his injuries after the treaty is signed, of which Kai Winn takes all of the credit.

Heart of Stone
Odo and Kira are tracking a Maquis terrorist while they end up on a planet Kira's life is threatened, but it turns out to be a simple experiment by the Founders to see Odo's alliance. Meanwhile Nog wants to join Starfleet and pursues Sisko for a recommendation.

Destiny
Bajor, the Federation and the Cardassians are working together to place a communication relay on the far side of the wormhole. The Bajoran people are freaked out because of a centuries old prophet the ends up coming true but not as everyone thinks it will.

Prophet Motive
The Nagus shows up and is acting quite weird, rewriting all the Rules of Acquisition and so forth. Turns out that he was "changed" by the creatures who live in the wormhole as they found him to be aggressive and dangerous.
